How do you add custom post types as entities and have them show up in the search results?

If you haven’t seen our WordPress intregation guide already, I’d recommend taking a look! You can add custom post types using the WordPress source and inputting your custom content type. Follow the connector steps to bring that content type in as entities, and then add a vertical to your search experience that will display entities of this type!
