Analytics Reports for Zendesk


What kind of analytics reports can I create in the Yext platform? Which would provide the most useful insights to improve the quality of Help Articles we are currently displaying?

Hi -

Analytics reports can provide a variety of useful insights for your support team. You can understand which help articles are receiving the most attention, which terms are being searched the most, and how your search functionality is performing over time. We’ve included the steps to create an analytics report below.

  • To create an Analytics report, go to Analytics > Reports in the top navigation bar. From this screen, you can select various Answers Analytics metrics under the “Metrics” drop-down.

These metrics include:

  • Answers Clicks - number of times content has been clicked
  • Answers Click Through Rate - percentage of searches with a click
  • Answers Searches - number of times a user ran a search
  • Answers Searches with a Click - number of times a user ran a search and clicked at least once
  • Answers Searches with Knowledge Graph Results - number of times a user ran a search that returned Knowledge Graph results
  • Answers Sessions - number of times a session was started
  • Search Terms - distinct count of search terms that were searched by users
  • Knowledge Graph Result Rate - percentage of searches that returned Knowledge Graph results
