Does using Force Sync modify Status?

Does using the “Force Sync” option (for available publishers) update the status if there has been an applicable change to the status on the individual publisher?

For example, let’s say one of our locations is properly synced with GMB, so the status is “Live.” But at some point, the listing becomes suspended on GMB. As of right now, I believe an edit in the Knowledge Graph is needed to call the GMB API to get an updated status. So in this case, the status in Yext would remain “Live” for now. But would using “Force Sync” get an updated status for GMB without needing to make an edit in Knowledge Graph?

Hi Kerry - that’s correct! You can use “Force Sync” to confirm Yext has the most up-to-date status for a listing.
