I had the same problem, but for me it turns out the like button is invisible. The like button should be to the left of the share button. If you hover your mouse in that area, do you see the option to click?

At least in the current version, the Like button is a thumbs-up, not a heart. The course content talks about a 
, but there is only a 
in the interface. If you click that, everything will work.
