Is it possible to change query suggestions (and the typed animation) per page?

Hi all,

I have a client who’s planning to implement answers on multiple web pages on their site, and they’re wondering if it’s possible to change the dropdown query suggestions (and typed animation in the searchbar) based on what page the user is on so that the suggestions are more relevant to each page.

Hi Hannah,

Having different prompts (based on the page a search bar is placed) isn’t supported today, but is on our roadmap for the next several releases! Thanks for bringing it to our attention, we agree it’s a great use case.

In the short term, a client’s development team could build a custom search bar with Answers Core and set the initial autocomplete manually based on the parent page.

Hi Team - is this now supported today? Potentially via query rules or updating JSON code to show specific query suggestions by the page of which the search bar exists?
