New Dimensions, Metrics and Filters (Summer ‘22 Release)

We’ve added some new dimensions and filters to Report Builder and the Analytics API to make it even easier to analyze the performance of your experiences.

  • Search Duration: The amount of time in seconds that a user spends viewing the Search results page, before exiting or placing a follow up search. Click into the post to learn more about this dimension/filter and how to enable it.
  • Client SDK: The Client SDK (e.g., Search Theme, Search UI SDK, Core, Headless React, etc.). This is automatically enabled in all Sandbox and Production accounts, so you can start taking advantage of this today!
    • Note: In order to view this dimension for most searches, you must have the following version (or later): Search UI SDK (v1.14), Search Core (v1.6), Search Theme (v1.29), Headless (v1.1.0), Headless React (v1.1.0)
  • Client SDK Version: The version of the Client SDK used in Search. This is automatically enabled in all Sandbox and Production accounts, so you can start taking advantage of this today!
    • Note: In order to view this dimension for most searches, you must have the following version (or later): Search UI SDK (v1.14), Search Core (v1.6), Search Theme (v1.29), Headless (v1.1.0), Headless React (v1.1.0)
  • Is Human: Whether a Search query was placed by a human searcher, as opposed to a suspected Bot. Click into the post to learn more about thIs the dimension/filter and how to enable it.
