Are the search log and search terms tracked in the Answers tab limited to a certain number of days back, and if so, how many?
Yes, Search Terms and Search Logs go back 120 days.
One other note to add is that the tables in the platform will display a max of 10k records depending on the filters you have on the page.
Meaning, by default the Search Logs page will return the last 10k records in reverse chronological order. Then, if you filter it will show you the last 10k records (if there are that many) that meet the specific filter criteria.
