Seeking Help to Improve Development Speed in React with Large Number of Entities

So, our project has 4000 entities across multiple entity types, and I just started working on it using React. I’ve noticed that the initial build time is slow, and every time I save, it’s almost impossible to work on it.

I’ve tried temporarily deleting templates and commenting out templates, but development is still slow. Is there anything you can suggest that would help me deal with this?

Hi,

What version of Pages are you using? It is possible that you are on an older version of Pages that is slowing down development.

When you are developing locally, you are only working with a subset of your entities so the number of entities in your account shouldn’t be slowing things down too much.

Also, could you please provide your account id so that we can do additional investigation? You can find it in the URL of your account (e.g. https://www.yext.com/s/{ACCOUNT_ID}).
