Types of Relationships
There are two different entity relationship models that Google follows that Yext can support:
Independent-Establishment-In: The child entity is a distinct business from the parent entity. (e.g., a Sunglass Hut within a Macy’s or a McDonald’s inside a mall)
Department In: The child entity is a department of the parent entity.(e.g., Albertsons Pharmacy within Albertsons or a Sears Auto Center within a Sears)

Google has strict guidelines for department and store-within-a-store listings. For listings to be linked using this feature, they need to have the following:

To set up a Google Entity Relationship:
Google relates child entities to parent entities using Place IDs. By specifying a parent entity’s place ID on a child entity, Google knows to link the listings of the two entities together. The following steps will outline retrieving a Place ID to input to the Yext platform to set up a Google Entity Relationship.
