Error attempting to upgrade theme

Hello, I have a client with a search experience site that is currently on theme version 1.26.0. When attempting to upgrade the theme in the code editor (Tools > Jambo Commands > Upgrade Theme), I’m receiving this error in the console:

jambo ERR! SystemError: fatal: detected dubious ownership in repository at '/repo-vol'
jambo ERR! To add an exception for this directory, call:
jambo ERR!
jambo ERR! 	git config --global --add safe.directory /repo-vol
jambo ERR!
