Adobe Experiences Manager Native Source

The Adobe Experience Manager Native Source allows you to leverage the Connectors Framework to pull AEM website pages into Yext — ingesting data such as page metadata properties, URLs, images, and page text content.

How this Impacts You

Now, users can easily pull in content from AEM via our Connectors framework. This new native source allows for a seamless integration with AEM, and allows users to easily ingest content from Adobe to leverage them in other Yext products including Search and Chat.

Feature Availability

To add the new Connector Source to your account, navigate to Account Settings > Account Features and select Summer ‘23: New Native Sources (early access).

Reviews Automatic Response App

The Reviews Automatic Response App allows businesses to configure automatic replies to reviews based on basic criteria, such as the minimum star rating and whether or not the review includes any content.

With this release we are announcing three additional features that have been added since the first version of the app launch with the Spring ‘23 Release.

These updates include the ability to:

• Respond to negative reviews. Previously, you could only use automatic review response to respond to reviews of 4 stars or greater. Now, you can include reviews with any star rating in your review response criteria.
• Opt specific entities or entity types out of automatic review response. When setting up the criteria required to enable auto-response, you can now select specific entities, or folders to designate which entities should be eligible for automatic review responses.
• Add multiple assets for the same review criteria to add variety to the automatic responses. When multiple assets have the same label as the review label, the app will randomly select one of the assets to post as the response.

How This Impacts You

This app allows businesses to quickly and easily respond to online reviews with a pre-configured review response. Enabling you to efficiently acknowledge and respond to customer feedback regardless of the star rating.

If you installed the app before May 17, 2023 you will need to re-install the app (after setting up your review labels and assets) to take advantage of the new features.

Healthcare Taxonomy Solution

The Healthcare Taxonomy Solution app allows users to install a set of pre-configured connectors, entity types, field eligibility groups, custom fields, and other resources to import taxonomy data into their account.

This taxonomy contains a standard set of interrelated medical specialties and terms.

Adding this data will help supplement your healthcare data and help you deliver optimal results based on any patient’s search across your search experiences, pages, and other downstream systems.

How this Impacts You

Installing this app to new accounts will help you easily create a data structure in Yext that is optimized for downstream systems. For example, the app will create a content schema to help you store the relevant entity types (such as doctors, and specialties), as well as the relevant associated fields.

The taxonomy also helps connect data together, so if you leverage Yext Search, the Healthcare Taxonomy Solution will help our algorithms determine which doctors to show when a user searches for something like “ear ache”.

Starter Templates

With the Summer release, we are revamping and building templates that will help you get started with Yext more easily and quickly. Each of the templates is a GitHub repository containing Config-as-Code resources for each Yext product. This video describes our Commerce Starter Template, which contains Entities and Entity Configuration, Search, Pages, Chat, and Analytics resources you can choose to apply to your account. Depending on what products you have you can pick and choose which resources to apply.

How This Impacts You

These new Starter Templates, created to support a variety of use cases and industries, will help you to quickly install a set of resources to your account to get you up and running with Yext even faster.
