We made changes to our API Rate limiting methodology to better even out traffic for increased uptime. This also functions as an early detection for bot traffic.
In addition to alerting you once you’ve reached your limit, we will also monitor how you’re pacing so there is more awareness as you begin outpacing, or get close to your limit.
If the request is overpacing, you may get a response to alert you of this that will prompt you to wait until making the request again.
If you run into this often and need to increase your Rate Limit, please submit a request to Support using this form.
Note: This change will be implemented for the General Availability release on January 12.
