Can we add "Show More" details to RTF fields and document-standard cards?

From this Community Post it sounds like we’re not able to use the Show More/Show Less for Rich Text fields, is that the case?

I have a client using a Connector for Help Articles, where all the body content is added to a Rich Text Field called “Body”, and is being shown on a document-standard card in Answers. The card is automatically shortening the description, but the client wants the option to show the entire body text. Is this feasible with the way the RTF is being used?

Hey Hannah,

There are limitations to displaying rich text fields due to the fact that the fields are being converted from markdown to HTML. Having show more/show less functionality could risk cutting off closing tags which could impact formatting and page functionality.
