I went through the Knowledge Graph final module with really no problems, but I keep getting failed on the final submission b/c the system is not recognizing the entity template I created, although my entity functionally works fine. I was able to apply it to all my jobs listings and everything.
I’ve tried checking for spelling errors and even re-creating the Jobs entity template, and am still getting failed when I go to submit. I reviewed the Module 11 sections specifically on Entity Templates and that wasn’t helpful because I felt like I was already doing everything properly.
What more could I possibly be doing wrong? Are there any common mistakes with entity template submissions that I might be overlooking?
Hi Justin,
Welcome to the Community!
When I went into your account, I did not see the Job entity template there so I’m not able to provide much insight into what may have been going wrong the first time around.
That being said, I went ahead and added the entity template according to the Final Assessment instructions, so feel free to log back in to the challenge account, take a look at the template for reference, and submit the challenge!
Best,
DJ
Hey DJ, I created the entity template but it must’ve expired or something. I redid the challenge again, created the entity tempalte and all custom fields, but now I’m getting errors for not having created the entity template or custom fields despite having uploaded my spreadsheet successfully.!

Hey Justin,
I checked the account and all the work you did looks great! The issue has to do with the specifics of how the grading rules work on these challenges. Some of the rules that are built into this assessment check for very specific values, and in this case, it is looking for custom fields with particular IDs. At the moment, the IDs for your “Associated FAQs” and “Benefits” fields both have a “1” at the end of them:
If you remove that “1” in each ID, that should take care of the errors you’re seeing! To edit the IDs, you can navigate to Knowledge Graph > Configuration > Fields and then click into the field in order to edit the ID.
Let me know if this works!
Best,
DJ
Thanks, DJ - that did resolve my custom fields error! However, I’m still receiving an error for the “Create New Jobs entity template” task. What might I be missing here as my New Jobs template seemed to function fine?
Hey Justin,
I think the remaining issue may be that your entity template contained a lot of empty fields that the grading rule for the assessment doesn’t expect. I tried cleaning it up by removing all the empty fields; everything except for “Benefits” and “Job Photo”. I think you should be good to go now!
Best,
DJ
Gotcha - well, it looks like that worked! Thanks for all your help DJ, you’re the man. Have a great Thanksgiving.
