Module 13 - helparticle card - why shouldn't I use a formatter?

Hi Hitchhikers community!

I just successfully completed the assessment of Module 13, but I am curious as to why I don’t have to use a formatter.joinList for the subtitle mapping to create a comma-delimited liust of values. Why does the field create a comma-separated list by itself?

Hi @Marc_Kriegs - great question! Because the field is an array (list type), the commas automatically get applied without the formatter. You’re right, however, that the formatter would be a better option so that there is space between the values. We actually just updated this challenge to use a new document-standard card type from the theme, and you’ll no longer need to fork the card subtitle going forward.
