Password Protection on Production Site?

Hello!

Can we add password protection to the Production site for Answers (like we have on Staging)?

I have a client that is building an internally-facing Answers experience and is sensitive about the information being available on a public domain (since Production URL exists and won’t be iFramed behind a SSO wall like the actual Answers experience will be).

They don’t want to iFrame Answers unless the production URL from Yext is somehow blocked from being publicly accessible too (using domain restrictions or something of the like).

Would appreciate any guidance on what options we have to make sure either the Production URL is password protected too or some other security measures we can take.

Thanks so much!

Hi @Sonia_Reardon,

The best way to do this would be to follow the Consumer Auth Overview Guide and the accompanying guides in the “Next Steps” section.

This guide outlines the different types of secure sites you can create and their use cases to help you choose which Set Up guide to use. Let me know if this helps or if you need additional assistance.

Best,
Micaela
