Possibilities for GSCE Filtering in Answers?

Hi team,

I was wondering if there was a potential way to filter the GSCE results found in the Links vertical? For context, we are trying to solve an issue in a clients Answers Experience (https://www.northerntrust.com/united-states/search) where when a user conducts an Answers search and clicks on a link from a different locale (ex. from http://northerntrust.com/japan), they are then brought to that locales version of the site.

Would it be possible to potentially use a user’s geolocation in Answers to filter the links, or even add a facet to filter the links by the region? We’re also trying to understand if this vertical has any filter capabilities in general.

Hi Cubby,

If the URLs for each locale are different (ex: www.domain.com/japan vs. www.domain.com/germany), you could create multiple GCSE links verticals for each but that may offer a poor customer experience.

At this time, there is no easy way to filter or add a facet to a links vertical. I would recommend scoping out this type of project with developer resources.
