We recently implemented the voice search in the Answers experience of one of my clients.
The client would like to go further in terms of analytics for the searches made on their search bar:
In terms of analytics, is it possible to split searches out by whether they were typed or spoken?
Yes, this is possible! There is a dimension and filter for “Has Voice Search (Answers)” that returns Yes or No based on whether voice search was used. Below is a screenshot for a simple report that breaks out the number of searches by typed or spoken. You can definitely customize this to what you are looking for.
