Step 3: Add App Mentions to Engage with Chat

  1. Add app_mention as a “Bot User Event” to subscribe to. This is how user in Slack channel will interact with Yext Chat Bot. Slack Event Subscriptions

  2. Now you can install the app in the desired channel(s) and chat with the bot by including @BOT_NAME in your message.
