Step 1: Add Yext App in ADFS Management Console

Overview

The first step of the process is to steps to set up a Yext app in ADFS.

Add Yext App in ADFS

  1. Open the ADFS Management Console.
  2. Click Add Relying Party Trust.
  3. Click Start.
  4. Select Enter data about the relying party manually and click Next.
  5. Enter a Display Name (e.g., Yext) and click Next.
  6. Use the default ADFS Profile and click Next.
  7. Use the default settings on the Configure Certificate screen and click Next.
  8. Check Enable support for the SAML 2.0 WebSSO Protocol checkbox and specify the service URL.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Enter a Relying Party Trust Identifier.
  11. Copy the SAML Issuer Entity ID into the Relying party trust identifier box and click Next.
  12. Select Permit all users to access this relying party and click Next.
  13. Click Next on the summary screen.
  14. In the Claim Rules window click Add Rule… button.
  15. Select Send LDAP Attributes as Claims and click Next.
  16. Enter a name for the rule that specifies what it does. Specify Claim rule name (e.g., UserName).
  17. Select Active Directory as the Attribute Store, and select the appropriate mappings.
  18. Press Finish and OK buttons to close both windows.
