Step 1: Assign Licenses to Entities
To generate reviews, each entity will need an assigned license. For review generation, assign entity licenses from the Ultimate package or Review Generation add-on.
Licenses activate Yext services for a given entity and can be assigned one of two ways:
- Automatically based on preset criteria (see
Automatically Assign Licenses to Entities with a Saved Filter
)
- Manually on an individual or bulk basis (see Assign Licenses and Feature Packs to Entities )
Note: If you have the Ultimate package, you may already have the necessary license assigned to use Review Monitoring and Response.
To check if you have a license assigned to an entity, navigate to Knowledge Graph > Entities and check if the “Subscriptions” column is populated. Entities with an active license pack will display the license name in the “Subscriptions” column. Entities that are not subscribed will leave the “Subscriptions” column unpopulated.
In the example below, the Wacker Drive location of Chicago Fine Dining is assigned to the “Demo Account” license pack, while the Addison Street location does not have a license.
