Introduction | Yext Hitchhikers Platform

Overview

This guide will walk you through a sample integration between the Amazon Alexa platform and Yext Search. When you have completed this guide your skill will be able to answer questions related to Location and FAQ entities.

Prerequisites

  • Yext Account with a Search experience, Location entities, and FAQ entities
  • VS Code
  • npm
  • Amazon Developer Account
  • Alexa App for iOS or Android (optional, but recommended)

You can choose to either create a Sandbox account with some of your own Location and FAQ entities or you can copy the account template used in this guide. Instructions on how to copy the account are in the README of this Github project .
