Introduction | Yext Hitchhikers Platform

This guide will walk you through hiding vertical results from the navigation bar or from the universal search page without having to modify the backend or delete any files from the frontend. If you want to fully delete a vertical and the results, we recommend following the Delete a Vertical from Search (Theme) guide .

There are two options you can choose from:

  1. Hide a vertical results page - users will be able to see vertical results on the universal search page but won’t be able to navigate to a vertical page.

  2. Hide vertical results from the universal search page - users will not be able to see vertical results on the universal search page but can still see them if they navigate to the vertical page.
