Introduction | Yext Hitchhikers Platform

The Slack Public Content connector contains a pre-configured setup to sync data from Slack such as public channels, public messages, public threads, and users to Yext on a daily basis. This connector only pulls in data that is marked as General access. Now, you can extend the reach of your Slack data even further to power Yext search experiences.

Prerequisites

This guide assumes you have a basic knowledge of Slack and Yext, and that you have:

  • Slack user permissions set to Slack Admin to approve API permissions
  • Slack channels that are set to Public
  • A live Yext account
