Module Assessment | Yext Hitchhikers Platform
Background
You just finished going through all of the relevant Hitchhikers training tracks. You learned A LOT, not just about Yext’s products, but also about the search industry like SEO, site search, and page development. The training even allowed you to develop more technical skills like learning the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. The hands-on challenges really helped to solidify everything you read and watched in the modules. You’re ready to start building, so now it’s your time to be Castle Manor’s Hitchhiker.

Branding
Your Challenge
This onboarding assignment at a high level will include:
- An intent page build using Yext Page Builder
- A search Experience build using Yext Search
Build an Intent Page
In this task, you will use Page Builder to create an intent page around one of CMCU’s key intents. (You may select any of the four key intents to build the page.) Please make sure to follow the below steps for your Intent page build:
- Structure the page build around an intent. In order to do so, you may add additional data points beyond the entity data linked above. Please generate any content needed to build out the page as desired.
- Make sure to build a header that includes a Yext Search bar.
Build a Search Experience
Using the suggested verticals above, you will build out a Search experience and integrate it into your Intent Page header search bar. Please make sure to:
- Create a second site for your Search experience Build. Do not create the build within the same site as your Page Builder intent page.
- Use the placeholder domain generated for your site as the redirect URL for the search bar on your intent page.
