My client is a regional bank that recently merged with another bank. They would like to have all users within 150 radius of Ontario, Oregon see the vertical with information about the merger first. Is that possible? I know the user will be served up results based on the search query but they still want the merge info vertical prioritized for people in the area near where the merge took place.

Since you’re looking to promote a whole vertical, we would need to add a location component to the vertical to sort by distance, which is currently not possible for non-location type entities. If you wanted to promote a single entity on merger information, you could create a promo vertical by following this code snippet.
