Free Google CSE vs paid Google CSE

Hi there,

Is there any difference from Answers standpoint between free Google CSE and paid Google CSE?
As long as I know, free Google CSE returns ads but is it still case if we integrate Google CSE with Answers? Or we need paid Google CSE to avoid returning ads?

Hey Hiromi,

When we build out a custom GCSE backend for a client’s Answers experience, it will not return ads. It will only return results with links from the client’s domain that is linked to the GCSE we create.
