Hardcoded Prompts in Vertical Search

Is it possible to implement hardcoded prompts in Vertical Search? Right now as I am testing it appears only to work within universal search.

My client has a vertical only experience, and wants to leverage this feature! Any insight would be excellent.

Hi Jessie,

You’re correct, hardcoded prompts only work in Universal Search today. That said, we have a feature called Query Suggestions coming in the December release – it will allow you to add prompts for just verticals, along with a couple other cool new updates!

Check back soon for that release, we’re excited for you to try it out.
