Links Backend - How often does it 'reindex'?

Hi –

I am using the Google Custom Search Engine Links backend and I was wondering how often do the links re-index your site? I ask because some of the pages on the site we recently disabled but still showing up in the links section. Is this a change my client makes internally or will the engine re-index the site on a certain cadence?

In short, this is dependent on how often Google itself indexes the site. You can instruct your client to follow these instructions (Ask Google to Recrawl Your Website | Google Search Central  |  Documentation  |  Google Developers) through Google Search Console to request a re-index.
