A key part of Query Rules is the new context object available in v1.5 of the JS library. context is a way to pass data into the Answers backend to be used with Query Rules.
Generally, a client’s dev team will be the ones who need to set the context object. This is often done alongside the integration of the search bar.
To help guide our customers, we’ve added a new guide to the Answers integration site. Check it out and feel free to share it with our customers. There is also a video walkthrough of the process.
