Is there a way to return or pin a specific entity when there are no results returned for both universal search and individual verticals?

I would recommend taking a look at this Query Rules module here: Introduction to Query Rules | Hitchhikers . This community post also writes out some more specifics on how to do this for universal search specifically.

You can use the Regex criteria in a query rules to capture certain queries and then decide which action you want to apply (e.g., Add Filter or Boost Entities).

Hi Melissa,

To confirm - it sounds like it is only possible to return results based on specific queries that may not currently be returning results, not necessarily as a rule for all queries that do not return results. Is that correct?

Are you trying to return the same singular entity when there are no results for both universal and vertical search?

If so, perhaps as a workaround you can customize the no results template to include the related content. See a post here with more details on how to do that!
