Can I test-run a connector without applying any changes?
Yes, use dry run mode to run a connector and view results without actually making any changes to entities.
Can I duplicate a connector?
There are two methods to duplicate a connector:
- When viewing all connectors (under Knowledge Graph > Connectors), click the dropdown arrow next to the View button on any connector and select Duplicate.
- Using Configuration-as-Code (CaC), duplicate the connector resource. See the Connectors CaC documentation and the Configuration-as-Code training module for more information.
Can I add multiple language profiles to an entity with a connector?

Why is my Linked Accounts ID invalid when installing the Google Business Profile connector apps?
There are two types of linked accounts in Yext:
- The accounts under Account Settings > Linked Accounts are for Listings, and they allow Yext to sync listings to the linked publisher account.
- Connector apps use the linked accounts found under Knowledge Graph > Configuration > Linked Accounts. These linked accounts provide read/write access to Yext so that Yext can update locations on those linked accounts with data from the Knowledge Graph, using the connector app.
Ensure that you’ve linked your account under Knowledge Graph > Configuration > Linked Accounts if you want to install a connector app. The Linked Account ID is the user-provided ID for the linked account (this might look something like google.myaccount
).
