Step 5: Add Permissions and Roles to Your Yext Users

If you are not familiar with our concept of roles and scopes, please refer to the Users module .

By using Yext Auth, the permissioning system is the same as in Platform, just extended into Search. On each user, you can add the role “Authorized Content Viewer” with the correct scope of entities, and Search will respect the permissions and only display the results the Yext User has access to.
