Introduction

This guide will walk you through the steps to add Knowledge Tags to your website.

Before you get started, we want to provide you with a brief overview of Knowledge Tags and the various features associated with it.

There are three components of Knowledge Tags:

  • Schema.org markup: Add perfect, always-up-to-date schema.org markup to any webpage via a <script> tag.
  • Customer-facing content: Pull content from entity fields and display it on your website via embed codes. Note, you need to add the <script> tag to your page in order to use the embed codes.
  • Analytics: Pull website analytics directly into Yext Analytics.

While this guide will include the steps you need to set up Knowledge Tags, along the way we’ll link out to deep-dive trainings on each topic if you want to keep learning later.
