Introduction | Yext Hitchhikers Platform

Prerequisites
This guide assumes that you have access to two Yext accounts: a source account (where you will pull entities from) and a target account (where you will pull entities into). Missing one or both accounts? You can create a Playground Account from your Hitchhikers profile .

This guide will walk you through how to build a data connector between two Yext accounts. If you power your Search experience or Yext pages with entities from multiple source accounts, you no longer have to manually transfer and update the data. Connectors can pull entity information on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

In this guide, you will:

  • Prepare your source account
  • Prepare your target account
  • Build your data connector

Note
You will only be able to pull entities of one entity type for every data connector you create. If you need to pull multiple entity types, simply repeat step 3 with the new entity ID.
