Combining analytics from API

Hi there,

When using the API to pull analytics which metrics can you group to build holistic measure of

  1. listing views
  2. profile views.
    We want to make sure we are not double counting.

Hi Laura,

The best way to do this is to reference the groupings of metrics listed in the Location Listings Overview module on the built-in Locations Dashboard (below is an example screenshot):

If you specifically want to use the API to isolate “profile views” (as in, views specifically of pages dedicated to your listing), then the correct metrics to use are PROFILE_VIEWS + YELP_PAGE_VIEWS. All the metrics can be found in this dev documentation.
