Different eventTypes for different CTAs

Hi all -

I have a question regarding CTA eventTypes - I’m using Departments and Events as my entity types, each with 2 unique CTAs. Events are using “RSVP” and “Watch Recording” as the 2 CTAs, which I’d like to be measured separately, same with Departments (“Learn More” vs. “Schedule a Consultation”). None of these fit that cleanly into the predefined eventType buckets below:

Do I need to choose 4 different eventTypes so that each click gets its own bucket? And if that’s the case, do I need to pick from the list above, or can I create my own eventType to measure?

Hi Julian,

You’ll need to choose from an existing Event Type - this is so that we can map them in Conversion Actions. I would just choose two different event types for the different CTAs per card - you can get to the granularity of Entity Type > Event Type to identify the four different variations that way.
