Google Sitelinks Search Box Not Showing Up

Hi,
I’ve followed these integration instructions to add the Google Sitelinks search box to my page, but it doesn’t show up in the Google Search Engine Results Page (SERP). The Google Rich Results Tester shows our Schema.org markup correctly. What can we do to get the search box to appear?

Also, unlike some other integrations we do not currently display a search box on our homepage, could that be the cause?

Hi, as you can see from this Google article, Google does not guarantee that they will display the search box.

Don’t mark up content not visible to the user.

It’s possible that the fact that there is no visible search bar on the page is the reason the rich snippet is not displaying, but there is no guaranteed way to find the source of the issue.
