Is it possible to filter query suggestion by using our KG filter or other filters?

Hi team,

My Answers client syncs their product data into our knowledge graph for the source of Answers.

They control live/not by the “Live on Answers” field, but they noticed query suggestion (suggestion by setting [[name]]) shows product names that are not live, which means “Live on Answers” is false.

Do you have any idea on filter suggested queries by some conditions?

Hello Kaishi,

Vertical query suggestions such as [[name]] only surface suggestions for entities that are included in the Answers experience.

In addition to making sure the “Live on Answers” field is filled out, the next step would be to double check that you have a Saved Filter active for that vertical in the Answers experience which is filtering out any entities where “Live on Answers” is false. You can check the vertical’s Saved Filter in the “Additional Vertical Settings” section of the Answers backend configuration as shown below.

Hey DJ,

One follow-up question on this - does the same apply for Universal results? I have two different search experiences both leveraging the pre-defined FAQ entity type and regardless of how I configure saved filters to the verticals, all FAQs continue to show up as Query Suggestions in both search experiences.
