Hello! I’m trying to understand how I can make more than one Yext search for our website. We have three different platforms and want each platform to have its own search results.
We currently have one page already working through Yext. To create the other two, would I need to make new Pages, new Domains, and/or new Search Experiences through Yext?
It is important that the other two searches have different search results depending on what platform it is. Would I add those results/entities to the Knowledge Graph? How can I make those results only appear in its corresponding search and not in all searches across our website?
Thanks!
Hi Julia,
I think a new page, Domain, Search experience for the new experiences might be the easiest way if you want the experiences for the end user to live in different places and show different results.
In the backend Search experience, I would recommend that you use Saved Filters to accomplish this: Saved Filter Overview | Hitchhikers
You can have a saved filter for each type of entity and each search experience (for example, FAQs for Domain #1 will go in one saved filter and you can add that saved fitler to the Vertical for FAQs in the backend Search configuration). See here for where the Saved Filter is set in the Search Configuration.
Let us know if you have any questions or you would like us to take a look!

Hi Alyssa,
Thank you for your reply. This is exactly what I was looking for! The saved filters is a really convenient way to have only some types of results show up for a specific search experience (or vertical within the experience).
Thank you!
Awesome! Glad I could help. Let us know how it goes excited to see the search experiences!
