Proper Bridge Domain for Pages Publish

Per the documentation I’m seeing what appear to be conflicting references to the correct bridge domain to use and could use clarification.

Suggested Domain Structure per HH material:

yousubdomain.yourdomain.sites.cdn.net.

See: Connecting Pages to your Website | Hitchhikers

From the “Domains” tab - Copy Bridge Domain results in:

yousubdomain.yourdomain.com.pagescdn.com.

Answers Quickstart Guide references:

answers.brand.com.sitescdn.net
https://hitchhikers.yext.com/guides/answers-quick-start/04-determine-integration-path/

Three different domains: sites.cdn.net, sitescdn.net, pagescdn.com

Can you please clarify the correct bridge domain for BOTH a Pages published page, and an Answers subdomain integration.

Thx.

Hi @Nick_Opderbeck - for Yext Hosted pages, the bridge domain to CNAME to is:

mysubdomain.mydomain.com.sitescdn.net.

This could encompass either a Pages Published page or a Yext-hosted Answers Published page, for example:

stores.brand.com
products.brand.com
answers.brand.com
search.brand.com

We currently use the .pagescdn.com domain to configure client-hosted Answers experiences that are leveraging the JS Snippet for integration.

Let me know if I can help clarify any of this, and we’ll make sure all of our documentation is consistent.

Best,
Sam
