ExtNet/Yext Source/medium in Google Analytics

Hello,

One of my clients uses Yext for local store listings. I’m seeing lots of traffic to store pages categorised weirdly in Google Analytics:

  • Channel = Other
  • Source = ExtNet
  • Medium = Yext

Is this something that happens on the Yext side? I’m just trying to figure out how to rewrite these channel groupings. Perhaps organic would be appropriate?

Hi Kevin! This isn’t something that Yext configures, so from this info it seems like this is probably coming from the Google Analytics side. It may be worth working with the client to see how they have set up their GA account.
