Introduction
Yext AI Search for WordPress allows you to create, customize, and embed your Search experience onto your WordPress site.
Regardless of how familiar you are with Yext products, this guide will walk you through all of the required steps, including:
- Pulling your posts, pages, and media from WordPress into Yext
- Pulling custom entity types (optional)
- Authenticating into private WordPress sites (if necessary)
- Adding your WordPress data onto an already existing Search experience (if necessary)
- Downloading the Yext AI Search plugin on WordPress
- Embedding and publishing Search onto your WordPress sites
If you are using a Playground account, applying the WordPress Solution Template as a first step will provide you with a starting structure for your account (including the Content setup, a Search frontend, and a Search config) that you can then customize with your brand’s content and styling.
