API and Reference Documentation Updates and Improvements
Reference Documentation Updates
We have made two primary updates to the Reference documentation — a search bar, collapsible headers, and recommended content.
The Quick Search can be used to easily find the name of a relevant reference document. If the search doesn’t return any results, you will be prompted to search on the main Hitchhikers search experience. Collapsible headers in the left navigation make it easier to view the content and access exactly what you are looking for.
We have also added a Recommendations section titled “People Also Viewed” to the bottom of reference documentation pages. These recommendations showcase related content, when available, making it even easier to find relevant content as you navigate through documentation.
API Documentation Updates
We have updated the layout out of our API documentation to align more closely with our Reference documentages pages. These pages now have the same quick search, collapsible headers, and left navigation bar.
We have also made changes to the documentation to align with the new API naming conventions. Primarily, there are two pages — one for each API grouping. More details on the naming updates can be found in the .
How This impacts You
These enhancements should make it easier to navigate content, find relevant related materials, and create a more streamlined experience as you leverage our different types of documentation.
This feature is available on the site now, so you can start taking advantage of this today.
