Prerequisites

This guide assumes that you have an account already set up with Search to get started. Don’t have an account? You can create a Playground account from your Hitchhikers profile .

You will also need an Experience Builder site. If you don’t have one, follow this Salesforce Trailhead Guide . For more on Experience Builder, check out this Salesforce help article .

Introduction

Yext Search for Salesforce brings the power of search to the entire force.com product suite. Empower your customers by adding search to your experience builder site or give your agents a lifeline by unifying all your internal content within the case view. Specifically, Yext supports three solution integrations: Help Site Search, Case Deflection, and Agent Desktop Search.

After downloading the Yext Search app from the Salesforce App Exchange , provide your Yext search experience details and simply drag and drop the search bar wherever you’d like!
