Listing Issues | Yext Hitchhikers Platform
Listings can be filtered on the All Listings page by the corresponding Issue. To do this, filter for a specific issue under the Issue Type filter pill, or select Warning under the Advanced filter pill to see all listings with an issue.
The presence of an issue on a listing does not necessarily result in a Not Synced status; a listing may have an issue affecting only some data but still sync to the publisher.
The available types of issues are detailed below.
Confirm Sync
User approval is required before Yext will sync the listing with publishers. See Confirm Sync for more information.
Create Listings
The Automatically Create New Listings configuration option is disabled for the affected publisher. See Listings Configuration for more information.
Data Issue
There is an issue with the data stored on the corresponding entity in Content. To take action, click on the listing to open the Listing Details and view which field is causing the issue. Click the Verify Data button to resolve the issue on the entity.
Duplicate Listing
The publisher has determined there is already a matching listing on their site.
Existing Relationship
The publisher has reported that you are already a paid advertiser with them directly.
Linked Account Issue
Some publishers require you to link an account in order to sync with Yext. This issue indicates that you must link a valid account.
To resolve, click the listing to open the Listing Details. Click the Fix Listing button to open a modal to link your publisher account.
Matching Issue
Yext is unable to match to a listing on the publisher, or the listing has already been suppressed.
Pending Review**
The listing is pending review by the publisher before updates can be made. Most of the time there is no action to be taken in these instances, and the review time can vary by publisher.
Publisher Error
There was a issue syncing to the publisher’s database. Click the listing to open the Listing Details for more information.
Publisher Limitation
The listing is not synced due to a limitation on the publisher’s end where they do not support the type of business on their site. For example, some publishers do not support service-area businesses, or may not list businesses with certain categories. In most instances, there is no action that needs to be taken on these listings.
Suspended Listing
The listing has been suspended, or marked as closed, on a publisher. Click the listing to open the Listing Details for more information.
Verification
The listing is pending verification from the publisher.
To verify your Google Business Profile listing, click the listing to open the Listing Details, and then click the Verify Listing button. For more information, see Verify a Single Google Business Profile Listing.
To verify your Yelp listing, make sure that a valid website is added to the Website URL field on the entity, and that your business falls within the Yelp Eligibility Guidelines.
