Review History in Logs API
With this release, users can now view the full history of changes that happened to their reviews via the Logs API.
Each time a review is created, updated, or deleted a set of comprehensive records will be published to the Logs API. This will provide users with insight into exactly what was changed, and when the change was made.
How This Impacts You
This update will help provide users with an audit trail of actions on user-generated content.
This is particularly valuable for our customers in regulated industries, where compliance mandates the preservation of modifications to user-generated content, like reviews. Now, using this API users have the ability to export a list of responses, approvals, flags, labels, and more to the compliance and record management system of their choice.
This can also be used to help identify changes that happen to reviews over time. For example, if a customer changed the star rating after leaving the initial review, or if the customer deleted the review altogether. The platform will reflect the most updated state of the review, but you can view both the log and details of these changes via the API.
